Welcome to a new era of technology, one where digital transformation will drive new processes and procedures in commercial construction, homebuilding, and infrastructure markets. Fortune Business Insights suggests the digital transformation market size was $737.88 billion in 2020 and is projected to reach $3.5 trillion by 2028, exhibiting a growth rate of 22.1% during the forecast period.
The opportunities with digital transformation, the IoT (Internet of Things), and AI (artificial intelligence) are vast, offering companies the ability to save time, money, and resources, in a currently cost-constrained economy.
For the construction industry specifically, homebuilders and contractors need solutions to manage business processes to improve efficiencies and protect profit margins. Still, finding the right solution can be challenging.
This is where the Constructech Top Products enter the equation. Born out of a need and a request from the construction industry, these awards recognize products that demonstrate outstanding innovation. Examples include companies that can heighten sustainability on projects; products that enable resilient infrastructure; or technology solutions for the office or the field, just to name a few. Each product is judged on its own merits for helping the construction and design industry.
Submitted products are judged by the editorial team at Constructech. Those products—which include supplies or technology—are selected based on various criteria, including the product’s overall usefulness and uniqueness to the construction industry. In addition, the judges also consider the customer growth rate during the past few years for that particular product.
With the Constructech Top Products Awards, each judge reads a submitted entry and reviews it. Each judge rates the entry on whether or not it should be named one of the Constructech Top Products.
The main objective is to compile a list of the best technology for the construction industry. While the panel of judges is constantly researching and looking for new products all year long, technology providers are also encouraged to submit their product for consideration. The deadline is coming up tomorrow—so make sure you submit soon and reach out to us with any questions.
For construction professionals, finding the right technology partner and the right solution isn’t an easy process. It involves a lot of research, strategy development, and conversations with vendors, academia, and others in the industry. We do all this research with the Top Products program to ensure the best solutions come out on top.
