New research from Cellnex UK suggests frontline healthcare workers lose an average of more than 122 hours annually.
This is equal to 17 working days.
Why? Outdated and unreliable digital infrastructure.
Other stats from this report include:
- More than half say this has impacted their ability to deliver urgent care.
- In GP practices, more than three-quarters lose between 20 minutes and an hour daily.
- In hospitals, nearly one in four face these challenges every day.
- This impacts electronic patient records (41%), wireless medical equipment (38%), and remote triage services (41%).
- More than two-thirds say poor connectivity undermines their efficiency.
- Roughly 62% report disrupted communication with colleagues and patients.
Yikes. We need to do better.
