Innovation inevitability reshapes the way we live, work, and relate to each other. Thus, when we enter a new era of innovation, we must always enter it with a spirit of curiosity and a spirit of eager learning. Approaching these changes with curiosity allows us to ask better questions, explore new possibilities, and challenge our assumptions, rather than cling to outdated principles. Consider the recent example of a new innovations center.

    Innovation at Work

The Evolver Innovation Center is designed to help U.S. federal government organizations adopt new technologies and serves as a collaborative environment where leaders, engineers, and cybersecurity professionals work together. The center focuses on optimizing technologies such as AI (artificial intelligence), advanced data analytics, and quantum computing and post-quantum cryptography—our focus for the month here in February.

The Evolver Innovation Center begins its operation with a focus on cybersecurity-integrated technology solutions. However, the intent is to continually evolve and expand the technology solutions.

Looking to the future, Evolver will continue to expand the Innovation Center’s offerings by building equivalent Evolver Integrated Technology Solution suites for enterprise information technology, SecDevOps, electronic security systems, digital transformation, and eDiscovery.

This approach is designed to address mission areas that demand increased speed, accuracy, and resilience while upholding the trust, governance, and accountability required by U.S. Federal government and commercial customers nationwide.

    Innovation in Construction

Construction is entering its own era of quantum learning, where emerging technologies could offer new opportunities in the future. Looking ahead, the integration of quantum computing and post-quantum cryptography could have implications for large-scale infrastructure and government construction projects, particularly where secure data exchange is critical.

An attitude of eager learning keeps companies adaptable and resilient, equipping the construction industry to grow alongside emerging technologies and ideas. By combining open-mindedness with a willingness to continuously learn, the industry can position businesses to keep pace with change, and to adapt in thoughtful and meaningful ways.

By embracing a mindset of curiosity and continuous learning, construction leaders can harness innovation to build smarter, sustainable, and secure projects. Ultimately, this will help construction keep pace with innovation and build the resilient infrastructure and cities of tomorrow.
