    2.3 million workers.

That is the number of lone workers using connected safety solutions in Europe, North America, and Australia and New Zealand in 2024.

    2.3 million.

Looking to the future, analyst firm Berg Insight forecasts how much the number of users is anticipated to grow in each sector through 2029.

    • Europe: 1.2 million in 2024 to 1.7 million in 2029
    • North America: 580,000 in 2024 to 795,000 in 2029
    • Australia and New Zealand: 490,000 in 2024 to 700,000 in 2029

There are several reasons for this growth including the desire to drive greater safety, regulations, lower employee insurance costs, greater awareness of risks, and greater efficiency.

The connected safety solutions are continuing to advance as well. With the rise of gen AI (artificial intelligence) and improved data analytics, there are greater opportunities for safety prevention features.

What are you seeing? How can we use technology to protect lone workers?
